Wedding dress worn by Mrs. Elsie Byrd. On September 3, 1904 she married Mr. Gordon Boggs. They were married by Brother Hall of the Brethren Church. The bride made her wedding dress using a patter from McCall’s magazine.
The wedding couple honeymooned at the St. Louis Words Fair. Cost of their tip was $95.00 (Train tickets from Harman, WV to St. LOuis was $51.00 and cost at the fair was $44.00) Seven of their wedding party accompanied them.
