Celebrating over 240 years of history
Founded in 1926, the Pendleton County Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting historical information about our county and state. We hold three public meetings per year: a regular meeting in the spring, a summer picnic, and a fall meeting. The meetings are held at historic sites in the county and are always informative and fun. Each quarter, members receive a newsletter featuring articles on local history, biographical profiles of local historical figures, and event information. Member dues are $10 per year per member or $25 for a three year membership. Family memberships are available for $15 per year or $40 for a three year membership.
